This Pedagogical Notebook, as well as the Lesson Plan Notebook, were prepared with the objective of guiding teachers in applying the Synapse methodology in the classroom and assisting in the creation of activities and lesson planning that favor student learning. The Notebook provides explanations about each learning objective of the Synapse Matrices and examples of activities suggested by teachers to develop these objectives. These activities were planned and applied in the classroom by participants in the Synapse project and training course and show how to apply the sequence of objectives proposed by the methodology to students.

The Notebook lists the learning objectives for Contextualization, for the subjects of Portuguese Language and Mathematics, and for developing Sensorimotor Skills of students from the 1st to 3rd grade of Elementary School. These objectives, aligned with the National Common Curricular Base (BNCC), make up the Synapse Matrices as a reference for planning activities by teachers.
