Santa Luzia do Itanhy-SE | 2010-2018
Study of neurocognitive conditions and monitoring of academic progress of elementary school students in the public school system of the municipality of Santa Luzia do Itanhy, SE.
The objective of this project was to assess the language and mathematics learning conditions of students in the municipal school system of Santa Luzia do Itanhy, using educational software. In addition to the pedagogical assessment, a survey of the development history was conducted with the mothers of students with learning difficulties. They began to receive care in a computer lab using the educational software of the Enscer project. Complementary educational material was printed for use in the classroom by teachers with biweekly monitoring and guidance.
With the results obtained, the Enscer project began to be reformulated and reconstructed with the participation of local educators and researchers, which gave rise to the Synapse Project. Initially, only in Santa Luzia do Itanhy-SE, the methodology, materials and technologies were conceived and contextualized in the sociocultural environment of the region, being produced by professionals from the municipality and the capital, with support from the Institute of Research in Technology and Innovation (IPTI), now renamed The Human Project.
With the positive results of participatory creation in the municipality and with the authorship and leadership of professionals from the municipal education network, the Synapse Project has now become the Synapse Network, present in several states supporting the work and creativity of hundreds of professionals and thousands of students.
