The objectives of this project are:

A) to create an educational program focused on musical perception, with the aim of promoting phonological awareness and consequently the reading and writing skills of students in the 1st year of elementary school;

B) to provide assistance to improve the reading skills of children who may have a reading learning disorder, such as dyslexia;

C) to transfer to the IPTI teaching material the musical activities with a description of their practices, created by the bilateral partnership between researcher and teacher, so that they can be replicated within the educational project that the institute is developing in the municipality of Santa Luzia do Itanhy-SE and in the state of Sergipe.
